Description:

It is found in high and flood zones, near and far from bodies of water, in new farms, closed purma, young purma, grazing areas, degraded prairie, with high intensity of light and under shade.

Tree of 15 to 27 m, of straight and ramified trunk, of heterogeneous cup, bark of brown color or green brilliant petroleum. Leaves oblong or ovate-oblong from 9 to 17 cm in length, simple, opposite, petiolate, penninervadas. Termosal inflorescences cimosas. Small, white, bisexual and aromatic flowers. Fruit oblong capsule from 8 to 11 mm in length. Compressed seeds angled and winged at both ends, with fleshy endosperm.
